Can You Suggest Some Good Recipe Sites And Provide Links?

Bronwen asked:

I used to have a bookmark for a really good recipe site, but my computer went into the shop and the bookmark was lost.

I have since found many recipe sites, but they all seem to be sponsored by someone, either a food corporation, or a gourmet magazine, or a fancy cookware maker. I am looking for sites where regular people can post recipes, not gourmet cooks, or part-time pastry chefs. I want a good simple recipe for chocolate chip cookies, or Aunt Mildred’s BBQ sauce, or someone’s variation of Chex Mix. I am not interested in making wild venison cutlets with papaya-mango sauce and mint-cucumber potatoes. I just want some nice recipes from regular people for ordinary foods that don’t take loads of money and time to prepare. Can you suggest some sites and provide links, please?

Thank you.
Thanks for the great answers so far. I am exploring every site recommended so I can be sure to know what I am doing when I pick my best answer.

I use a lot of their recipies and they have everything. They let you save recipes and create your own grocery list. It’s really cool.

is a great one. you make a username and password and type in the ingredients you want and those you don’t want and the name of the dish if you know it. you can also join and go through the Groups section and find different ones to join where they exchange recipes, ideas, and have suggestions for other sites.
    have fun!

    My favorites are:

Cooking Light and Southern Living require subscriptions, but are worth it. Kraft foods is a little heavy of the advertising, and I end up modifying a lot of the recipes, but they are a great start.
