Gourmet Korean food in Toronto?

I’m looking for a “gourmet” Korean restaurant in Toronto – most of the places I regularly go to are more like family dining, and I’d like to find somewhere fancier for an anniversary. Any suggestions?

There are a number of them on Bloor St, between Bathurst and Christie St, I go to Korean House and a few others.
I have either Bul Go Gui and my favourite is Pork Bone soup or Bim Bi Bap, a few do the Kalbi platter were you grilled the meat and wrap it in the lettuce or sesame leaves with all the fixings, I also go to a place on Yonge St at College, a Korean BBQ place were you sit at a grill and for under $12 you get an all you can eat service, for a few dollars more you get shrimp and lamb add to the 12 items the give with the original setting.

The best place is Seoul House on Steeles. We go there often when we can afford it. It’s not as fancy as, let’s say a French restaurant, but the decor is nice and it’s far more upscale than the ones you find along Bloor. It’s got private rooms as well. It’s a little pricey, but the food is well worth it. I’ve been to many other korean places, but this one is the best for the food and atmosphere.
