It is your boyfriend’s birthday and he always prepares a special meal for your birthday. He does not like to eat out and you can barely boil water. He really appreciates fine gourmet food.

It’s probably not too gourmet but you can go to a grocery store and buy a roasted chicken already cooked. They are delicious. You can even get those mased potatoes that are already cooked. I think country crock makes them. You just heat them up. You can add some chives or cheese to make them better. Then just make a salad. You can even buy the salad in a bag. All you would need to do is chop and tomato and some cucumber. Anyone can cook. If you can read, you can cook. It would really be more special if you tried something on your own. Even if it wasn’t that good I bet he would really appreciate the effort. You can go to allrecipes.com. They have millions of recipes.

i would either call my mother or a friend to come over and help me out…or look up recipes on how to cook the foods he wanted off the net…and just try to cook how they say too..

if i didn’t make the meal as it should or maybe i burnt it..well at least i try to do it..and he will see the effort i made into it and will appreciate it…

Call a friend who can cook and let them “help” you. He will appreciate the effort, and the food will taste great. Just say you’re taking lessons. :)

Oh, it’s a good idea to take a few lessons or turn on the tvfoodnetwork to learn “how to boil water” and more stuff!

there are a lot of places that you can get catering or just go pick it up. Arrange the food on plates and serve it to him

    *Food for thought*
One day ask him how to cook things or help him out when his cooking for you guys. That way you start learning and helping in the kitchen.
